Beyonce has hot songs, hot tours, and a hot fashion line; now, she hopes to continue with her new fragrance, Heat. We all know Beyonce has endorsed fragrances for Tommy Hilfiger and Giorgio Armani. But, this project is different.
“This was my first time starting from scratch, although I’ve worked with a few other fragrance projects,” Beyonce tells Women’s Wear Daily. “Everything, from the bottle design to the name and the ideas for the commercials — that’s me. When I commit to something, I do it 100 percent, and I’ve never had [creative control over a fragrance] until this project. I learned a lot of great things from the past — but I always asked myself, ‘If I could have my own scent, what would it be?’ ”
Beyonce worked with Givaudan’s scent developers Claude Dir and Olivier Gillotin and it’s notes include: red vanilla orchid, magnolia, neroli, blush peach, honeysuckle nectar, almond macaroon, crème de musk, sequoia milkwood, tonka bean and amber.
With pricing starting at $39/bottle, Heat (along with its matching body products) is sure set to be a top gift given for Valentine’s Day.
